We thought it was time to prove our expertise of "Turbomachinery" so knocked this up in our dinner breaks. Not all at once though of course, it took us a whole week of dinner breaks to do this! ;-)
Current development state on our New Age STi Demonstrator car is that we’re awaiting a new ECU capable of both firing 8 injectors with individual injector control, and capable of running a stronger charge to the coil packs. So, while that’s being made, We decided to give it a run on just 4 injectors (1100cc/min rated), to see what we could get on that? Well, that was interesting. Output was as follows on various runs:- 1.2 BAR Boost (lowest possible) run saw a pretty impressive 542BHP 1.5 BAR Boost saw us pulling 620BHP. (530lb/ft Torque) At this point we’re running it like that, as we’re doing some ongoing component test and evaluation prior to some customer big build cars. As soon as we’re satisfied with the progress of those, we’ll “turn the wick up” a little and see what’s possible before we need to drop onto the second set of injectors. More to follow as we push it out further. Stay Tuned! Remember, everything we do here is repeatable and available to you up to and beyond this power leve as requiredl! Figures achieved on a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road, using a normally ran road fuel mix of Shell 'V' Power with a dash of Methanol as an octane Enhancer.
